| An O-2 (call sign Speedy) failed to return to Da Nang from a FAC mission over a choke point on the Ho Chi Minh Trail. The crew had completed their task and were returning to base but never arrived. Some time later the crash site was located in Quang Nam Province in South Vietnam and the remains of the crew were recovered. |
