| Another F-100 was shot down in the Mekong Delta region. Capt Sissell was making his third strafing pass against a number of troops near Ap Nhut, 13 miles northeast of Can Tho, when his aircraft (call sign Dice) was hit by ground fire. He flew towards Can Tho and ejected a few miles west of the town. Capt Sissell survived to be shot down again on 6 March. |
